A LITTLE HISTORY...Founder and watch connoisseur, Bryan Maehler's passion and career in the jewellery business was sparked in the 70's and he later went on to establish Watches Unlimited in KwaZulu Natal in 1993. Today, the company is widely known throughout South Africa. The secret to his success no doubt lies in his commitment and dedication towards outstanding customer service.
A CUT ABOVE THE REST...Watches Unlimited specialises in watch repairs as well as associated products and offer a collection of watches to suit any lifestyle ranging from sporty and fashionable to classic and elegant. The comprehensive range of watches features various top international brands including Tag Heuer, Longines, Hugo Boss, Seiko and Armani to name but a few. Watches Unlimited product ranges have been compiled through extensive research of international market trends and high levels of quality control resulting in products that offer great elegance.
DESIGN AND RANGES...Bryan has built his successful empire by overseeing and personally insuring that all products are of the highest possible quality. His outstanding knowledge of international trends enables him to offer the most up to date designer ranges. And for the past 35 years, he has attended the Basel International Watches and Jewelery Fair keeping to date with the latest trends and cutting edge designs, working closely with his suppliers to ensure the best possible range selection.
A TYPICAL DAY...And just what does a typical day for the owner of Watches Unlimited consist of? Just about everything from visiting the head office in Umhlanga Ridge and overseeing the general day to day of the stores, to range selections and looking over stock lists. He has served the industry for more than 40 years and has become a household name for excellence, yet this humble Durban business man still does all his own merchandising and window displays, which goes to show that how he lives life, is how he does business.
